Celebrities might have plenty of cash and stylist, but even they can get their wedding gown spectacularly wrong. some are weird colors. Some are products of their unfashionable times. And some are just plain horrible.
Celine Dion
Sometimes it's the accessories as much as the dress that celebrities get so wrong on their wedding da. Celine Dion's tiara is one such monstrosity. It weighed 7 pounds and was made up of 2,000 Austrian crystals. She must have had a sore head the next day after carrying that thing around. The singer's wedding dress also included a 20-foot train, long hanging sleeves and a huge underskirt. it's no wonder the gown took 1000 hours to make.
Mama June
Nothing says wedding like camouflage, right? That’s what mama June would have you believe. Honey Boo Boo's mom wore one of the weirdest bridal gowns ever when she Wed sugar bear. The bright orange sash and under skirt are bad enough, but the camouflage print is the worst. And those matching shoes, not many Brides would wear trainers with neon laces. One of the weirdest things about the whole outfit is the classic veil. It looks totally out of place. Until you notice the shiny edging.
Katie Price
Katie Price has been married so many times in so many hideous dresses, it's hard to choose just one, but her first bridal gown is arguably the worst. The huge, sparkly pink number looks more like Glinda the Good Witch’s outfit in The Wizard of OZ then an elegant wedding dress. When the British glamour model married Peter Andre in 2005, she could barely fit the assets that made her famous into her tight bodice. The incredibly tall tiara was just as tacky. It’s a wonder Peter could get anywhere near her with the size of the skirt.
Katie price again
Katie price has certainly had a few goes at it getting her Bridal outfit perfect. She’s married three different men in multiple ceremonies and vow renewals. And for her bahamas wedding with hubby number three here inhaler she did the opposite to her first wedding with Peter Andre. Her skimpy white dress left a lot of skin on show. The tight material at least meant her groom could get up close and personal. and of course Katie couldn't resist a bit of bling.
Jada Pinkett
Jada Pinkett married Will Smith in a high-neck velvet gown. Yes, velvet, not the most popular fabric to use for a bridal gown. And a style was pretty unusual to most brides don't cover themselves completely in long sleeves and a polo neck. But it was New Year's Eve in Baltimore, after all at least Jada would have capped herself and her baby bump warm. Perhaps the fact that she was pregnant with Jayden was the reason behind the very modest style but really, it's the velvet that we can't get beyond.
Mariah Carey
If looking like a merengue is your bridal gown inspiration, then Mariah Carey is your Idol. although Mariah's wedding with Tommy Mottola was in 1993, and the 80s influence is loud and clear. it's not surprising it's said the singer was inspired by Princess Diana's huge, puffy gown. it's not just the puff ball sleeves and huge skirt that make this dress ridiculously huge. it's also the 10-foot veil and 27 foot train incredible.
Emma Thompson
Upholstery is never a good inspiration for a wedding gown. But emma thompson looked as though she'd based her bridal gown on a favorite sofa cover or cushion when she weds kenneth branagh. it's a fun and colorful dress for sure but really not what you'd expect as a wedding dress. Surely it would look more at home at a child's birthday party.
Tina Turner
When Tina Turner weds her wind Bach she didn't go down the traditional route of a white bridal. Gown that's fair enough as it wasn't her first marriage. But to go to the opposite end of the scale is pretty extreme. Her black and green puff ball of a dress is more like a witches outfit than a bride's gown. And don't even get us started on those leggings.
Anthea Turner
The trends of the 80s are all over and the attorneys outfit for her wedding to Peter Powell in 1990. The puffy sleeves the shiny material. Anthea's wedding dress self isn't great, but it isn't totally awful. What pushes the British TV presenters bridal attire over the line is that pair of tights. Seriously, it doesn't matter how cold it is. Just don't wear those tights on your big day, or at least don't wear them during the photo session.
Sarah Jessica Parker
Sarah Jessica Parker married Matthew Broderick in a black gown, that's right? The actress who played Carrie Bradshaw wore a color more associated with funerals than marriages when she tied the knot in real life. There’s no denying it's a striking dress but surely Sarah Jessica Parker could have worn something a bit more upbeat? We can imagine her Sex in the City character would approve
